Attic Fans
Exceptional Power & Performance
Solar Powered Attic Fans
Solar Star Ventilation Fans combine advanced solar technologies with progressive designs to create a ventilation system that efficiently vents heat and moisture from your home that, when trapped, can damage your home and drive up energy costs. Your home stays cool and dry, giving you greater comfort and prolonging the life of your roof, all while saving energy and lowering your utility bills.
Summer Cooling
Summer means longer days, more sun, and warm temperatures. If heat isn’t vented from your home properly, it can build up and cause many kinds of problems.
- Living spaces become hot and uncomfortable.
- Air conditioning units work harder to keep rooms cool.
- Utility costs rise due to increased energy demand.
- Roof structures and materials deteriorate.
A Solar Star Ventilation Fan solves these problems by removing excess heat, giving you a more comfortable interior and lower energy bills.

Winter Protection
With winter comes ice, snow, and cold temperatures. When coupled with excess humidity from showers, humidifiers, and dishwashers, it can lead to damage.
- Mildew and rust from unequal attic and outside temperatures.
- Leaks and structural decay triggered by ice buildup on your roof.
- Damage to insulation and framing materials produced by moisture.
- Weakening of internal structures caused by mold and fungus growth.
A Solar Star Ventilation Fan prevents these issues by equalizing interior and exterior temperatures, safeguarding your home from the worst of winter.

Solar Star Ventilation Fan Options
With solar-powered technology, Solar Star Ventilation Fans cool during the day with no cost to operate. They also require no electrical wiring and are virtually maintenance-free. So you get attic ventilation without the hassles.
Roof Mount 1500
For smaller homes, you may not need as much power. The Solar Star Ventilation Fan RM 1500 features a 16-watt solar panel that creates just the right amount of airflow for efficient venting of heat and moisture.

Roof Mount 2400
Amp up your venting power with our biggest fan. The Solar Star Ventilation Fan RM 2400 features a 35-watt solar panel that generates maximum energy for greater air movement.

Our attractive roof-mounted ventilation fans come in multiple profiles: Low Profile Roof Mount for the majority of roofs; High Profile Roof Mount for locations with heavy snow loads; and Pitched Roof Mount for north-facing roofs when you need to improve exposure to the sun.
